My story sounds much llike Linnettes. My SO started teaching me to ride on his dirt bike up and down our driveway. I decided that I would feel more confident and comfortable on something that I could plant both feet firmly on the ground. So, I began doing some research and shopping around. I was considering a 250cc as I wanted something that was fairly lightweight. I went to one of the local dealers who sells Suzuki, Harley, and Yamaha. I sat on a Virago 250, then spotted the Savage sitting across the way. When I went over and sat on the Savage, it just felt right and I loved the look of it. I was obviously hooked right then and there. I even tried a Sportster, but found it to be too heavy and not at all comfortable. I just passed my skill test and received my license last week. The only problem I have now is finding the time to ride.
